This vessel was damaged by sinking. This happened on the Great Union Canal and was completely unexpected and the cause unidentified. After salvage Medusa Marine were instructed by the insurance company to survey the vessel and establish the cause of the sinking as it was suspected to have been deliberate. Medusa Marine proved that the cause was accidental and due to poor maintenance.
